# FMC880 installation

1. Insert the SIM card
2. Connect the battery 
3. Attach the device cover and screw in all six screws
4. Mount the device in your car, according to [mounting instructions and safety information](https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/images/3/31/QM-FMC880.pdf). Also refer to [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqhC6J5uXlY) video instructions.
5. Send the relevant number to TMF (<support@themobilityfactory.coop>)
   1. ICCID from the SIM card
   2. Serial number & IMEI  (You can find these numbers on the black and white sticker on top of the casing).
6. TMF checks the devices configuration and sends you the ID for this device.
7. Set the hardware type (Teltonika) and the ID (received in step 6) for the vehicle (see [vehicle](https://handbook.themobilityfactory.coop/tmf-platform-documentation/control-center/vehicles#vehicle-properties)) in the control center.
